*Kogi CJ Commiserates with Gov. Ododo, says Judiciary Shares His Grief*

The Chief Judge and Chairman of the Judicial Service Commission of Kogi State, Hon. Justice Josiah Majebi, has expressed "deep shock" in his condolence message on behalf of the Judiciary and the Commission, to Governor Ahmed Ododo, the governor of the state, whose father, Alhaji Momohsani Ododo, passed on yesterday at the age of 83.

In his message, the Chief Judge eulogized the late octogenarian saying the exemplary lifestyle of the elder statesman was notable by his community and added that the late sage's contributions to the growth of Ebiraland would remain indelible in the history of the community and Kogi State in general.

While also condoling the Government and people of the state over the "painful loss", Justice Majebi noted that the governor's humility, diligence and selfless commitment to the course of governance in the state was a reflection of his father's disposition to the fear of God and service to humanity.

The CJ added that it was more gratifying that Pa Ododo would be "remembered as one of the respected illustrious elders of Ebiraland whose life bestowed on his community an undeniable guidance in contributions that instituted and propelled mentorship in productive leadership.

"As he lived a life marked by a total submission to the fear of the Almighty God, we are convinced that his legacy will continue to be felt with enduring impacts" said the CJ.

While taking "solace in the fact that
the deceased lived a fulfilled life", the Chairman of the state's Judicial Service Commission also prayed for God, in His infinite Mercy, to grant the deceased an eternal rest in peace, strengthen the Governor and comfort his entire family and the people of Kogi State with the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
