_Kogi State Judiciary Set to Implement New Minimum Wage of N72,500_

The Kogi State Judiciary is set to commence payment of the new minimum wage of N72,500 to its workers, effective November. This development was announced by the Chief Judge of the state, Hon. Justice Josiah Majebi, during a meeting with management staff of the various components of the judiciary.
According to Justice Majebi, the leadership of the judiciary has been engaging with the government to ensure the implementation of the new salary scheme. He expressed gratitude to Governor Ahmed Ododo and other state agencies for their support in this regard.
The implementation of the new minimum wage is a significant development for the judiciary, as it demonstrates the government's commitment to improving the welfare of its workers. Justice Majebi emphasized that the welfare of workers remains a priority and assured judiciary workers that the government is ready to promptly respond to their needs and concerns.
The Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) has welcomed the development, with its chairman, Comrade Emmanuel Waniko, issuing a bulletin to members to celebrate the good news. The union appreciated the efforts of the judiciary leadership in ensuring the implementation of the new minimum wage.
