_Kogi at 33: Commissioner Hails Governor Ododo's Leadership, Says State in Safe Hands_

Lokoja, Kogi State - The people of Kogi State are in safe hands with the administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo. This was stated by the State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Monday A. Anyebe, while congratulating the state Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, and the people of the state on the 33rd anniversary of Kogi's creation.
Hon. Monday A. Anyebe commended the past leaders of the state, from military administration to civilian administration, till date, for their efforts to make Kogi State stand among other states in the country. The Commissioner described the contributions of the past leaders in the state as immense, especially in the growth and development of the state.
Hon. Monday A. Anyebe particularly commended the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his fatherly roles and commitment to the progress and growth of the state. He noted that Kogi State is in safe hands under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo's government, especially in youth and women empowerment in the state.
The Commissioner also highlighted the prompt payment of salaries to civil servants and pensioners in the state as a good testimony of the governor's quality leadership. Hon. Monday A. Anyebe called on the people of the state to continue supporting the present administration under Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for more dividends of democracy in the state.
The Youth and Sports Commissioner congratulated the Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Deputy Governor, Elder Joel Salifu Oyibo, the Secretary to the State Government, Doctor Mrs. Folashade Ayode Arike, the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, and all members of the Assembly, the state APC party executives, members of the state Cabinet, traditional rulers, youth, women, and religious bodies in the state on the celebration of Kogi at 33.
