_Igala Youth Leaders Assembly (IYLA) Advocates for Peace and Restraint_

The Igala Youth Leaders Assembly (IYLA) urges all stakeholders to exercise restraint and embrace peace amidst plans for a protest. We believe that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is committed to addressing the nation's challenges and deserves our support.

While we understand the frustrations and concerns driving the planned protest, we must consider the potential consequences of such actions. Instead, we advocate for constructive dialogue and engagement with the government to address our grievances.

As an organization dedicated to promoting peace, unity, and development in our region, IYLA encourages all Igala youths to remain calm and work towards building a better future for themselves and generations to come.

Let us give peace a chance and support President Tinubu's administration as they strive to address our nation's challenges.

Dr. Salihu Alhassan Aruwa, a renowned educator and former principal of several notable institutions, passed away early this morning the 15th of December,2024 after a prolonged illness. Born in 1940, Dr. Aruwa dedicated his life to shaping the minds of future generations, leaving an indelible mark on the education sector. Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Aruwa served as Principal of Biraidu Community College Abocho, Idah Secondary Commercial College, and Federal Government College Ugwolawo. His leadership and vision helped to establish these institutions as centers of academic excellence, earning him the respect and admiration of his peers and students. Dr. Aruwa's burial took place in his hometown of Idah this afternoon, in accordance with Islamic rites. The Senior Staff Association of Universities, Teaching Hospitals, Research Institutes, and Allied Institutions (SSAUTHRIAI) held its Quadrennial/Delegate Conference at the Federal Teaching Hospital in Lokoja on October 16. The event saw the election of new executives to lead the association for the next four years.
