*Doctor Danjuma Ahmadu Bags Doctorate Degree as University of Abuja Holds Convocation Saturday *

A stalwart of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Igalamela/Odolu LGA, Hon. (Dr.) Danjuma Ahmadu, will be conferred with a Doctorate Degree at the convocation ceremony of the University of Abuja on Saturday 18 April 2026.

Hon. (Dr.) Ahmadu currently serves as Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Kogi State. The convocation ceremony is scheduled to commence at 10:00 a.m. at the University of Abuja Convocation Square.

The event marks a significant academic milestone for Hon(Dr.) Ahmadu, whose contributions to politics and public service in Kogi State have earned him recognition across Igalamela/Odolu LGA.

 His dual role as an APC chieftain and Special Adviser has positioned him as a key figure in the political landscape of Kogi State.

Immediately after the ceremony, a reception will be held in his honor in Gwagwalada.

 The reception is expected to draw party faithful, government officials, associates, and well-wishers celebrating his achievement.

Hon( Dr.) Ahmadu’s elevation comes as friends and political allies hail his dedication to scholarship and public service.

According to a statement released by the reception planning committee, the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, will serve as the distinguished Special Guest of Honour.

 Other expected dignitaries include Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Comrade Salifu Joel Oyibo; Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade, PhD; and the State Auditor General, Alhaji Yakubu Yusuf Okala.

The statement also named former Minister Professor Stephen Ikani Ocheni, Sheikh Ibrahim, Hon. (Barrister) Cosmas Ilemona Atabor, and Chief Baron Okwoli as special guests. 

High Chief (Pharmacist) Peter Idu is to serve as Chairman of the occasion. Similarly, Hon. David Idris Zacharias, Rt. Hon. Ismaila Inah Hussain, Hon. Major Enefola, and Alhaji Taofiq Isah are all invited as special guests.

The convocation reception will hold at the Family Worship Event Center, after UTH Hospital, opposite Resuscitate Hospital, adjacent IK Gas, Passo Road, Gwagwalada, Abuja, starting at 2:00 p.m., with Hon. Friday Sani and Hon. Haruna Yusuf as Chief Hosts.

*ANKPA LGA APC STAKEHOLDERS RESOLVE TO SUPPORT OMALA'S HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES BID IN 2027*

Ankpa, Kogi State - The people of Ankpa Local Government Area have pledged their support for Omala LGA's bid to represent Ankpa Federal Constituency at the National Assembly in the 2027 elections.
